High above a city (that appears to have elements of both Metropolis and San Francisco despite the fact that most of the story takes place in Central City), Booster Gold confronts the Trickster. Trickster identifies Booster as a "movie star," though Booster has never been known to actually appear in any movies. (Granted, Trickster also calls Booster a "denture wearer," and that's not actually true, either.)

POWER DOWN: In mid-air, Trickster hands Booster an "Acme 10 Ton Anvil," causing Booster to fall to the ground. Apparently, Trickster's "Airwalker Shoes" are more powerful than Booster's 31st-century Flight Ring. (While Booster could release the anvil and catch Trickster, the hero's first priority must be to ensure that the falling anvil causes a minimal amount of damage. The Trickster counts on Booster playing the hero to make his escape.)

ISSUE REVIEW

Boosterrific Review: Flash's Rogues Gallery plays the role of united heroic protagonists in the frame story providing an excuse for telling their individual origins. Thanks to its interesting frame story, this reads slightly better than the average issue in this series of wildly varying quality.
