ISSUE ANNOTATIONS

Image Copyright DC Comics

Page 8, panel 1
Booster Gold and Claire Montgomery walk in on Blue Beetle, Fire, General Glory, Guy Gardner, Ice, and Martian Manhunter in Maxwell Lord's hospital room.

Page 8, panel 3
When Claire admits that she and Maxwell were once married, Booster appears as surprised as everyone else. This makes little since unless Booster is reacting to the others' surprise. Booster has known that the two were once married since this information was revealed during the events of Justice League Quarterly #1.

Page 20, panel 1
After spending some time with Blue Beetle, Booster has had his fill of the Justice League's typical antics when Martian Manhunter allows Big Sir, Clock King, Cluemaster, Major Disaster, Mighty Bruce, and Multi-Man, all former members of the Justice League International Antarctica branch, to guard Maxwell Lord's hospital room. Leaving the hospital, Booster returns to his role as leader of the Conglomerate.

ISSUE REVIEW

Boosterrific Review: This comic is considerably worse that what we've come to expect from this consistently exceptional series, which is symbolically fitting considering that we are now entering the darkest hours of the Justice League International. This potentially paradigm-shifting moment in the history of the Justice League International is marred considerably by weak art and a slowly-unfolding story despite its enticing premise.

Boosterrific Rating:

Gold Standard.
