POWER UP: Booster Gold is seen floating among the other heroes and villains who joined last issue's assault on Brainiac's space ship above Earth. It is unclear if Booster is alive or dead, but his force field seems to be active.

Fortunately for his legion of fans, Booster has clearly survived his adventure in space and now joins the massed heroes and villains in a graveside memorial service for the fallen heroes.

Booster's previous concern may have been justified. While trying to encourage the heroes to victory, he is taken out of the fight by Giganta, who hits him with a giant rock.
