ISSUE ANNOTATIONS

Page 6, panel 5
Blue Beetle II and Booster Gold are undercover in suits and dark glasses on a street corner in Washington D.C. to tail Cameron Scott, the alter ego of Captain Atom.

Image Copyright DC Comics

Page 7, panel 1
Booster prefers a straight fight to all this sneaking around, and complains about his suit and the Washington traffic. As a well-known celebrity, undercover work will never be his forte unless he is wearing a full mask. Fortunately, the advanced computer Mother Box of Mister Miracle will come to Booster's rescue.

Page 8, panel 3
In a flashback sequence, Mister Miracle reveals that he has known that Captain Atom was lying about his origins since he helped save the Captain after his fight with Swamp Thing in Captain Atom #17 in order to convince Booster Gold to assist him in investigating Captain Atom.

Page 9, panel 4
Also in flashback, Blue Beetle reveals that he has known Captain Atom was lying about his history ever since he misrepresented his history with Beetle's predecessor, the first Blue Beetle, in Captain Atom #20 to bolster Miracle's claims and sway Booster.

Page 11, panel 4
Convinced that Captain Atom must be confronted about his lies, Booster, Beetle, and Miracle perform the traditional "hands-in" gesture, commonly associated with team sports. No doubt Booster feels he is in his element.

Page 22, panel 1
Beetle, Miracle, and Booster confront U.S. Air Force Major Cameron Scott and demand to know the truth behind Captain Atom's lies.
